Where to begin about this incredible place. My constant wee sidekick Mollie (10), my 24/7 4 paw'd live in therapist. On 5th May 2019 my all year round hot... water bottle, was diagnosed with non operable cancer. It seems even surreal now typing that. Even superhero's have to retire I guess 🙁 Our incredible vet Claire Ferris released my friend to be free, with such dignity, on 16th September 2019. I was so afraid, but not even an hour later we pulled into Peaceful Paws car park and where met by one of the most gorgeous wee souls ever, wee Liz. She placed with my hubby Wil, our precious Mollie into a bed and placed a pillow under her head and a blanket around her. The dignity shown to her was so valuable to me. We where shown into what only can be described as one of the most peaceful room's ever. I just knew my wee friend was in very safe hands from the very start. When you feel your world is exploding please consider letting your wee animals final journey be with Peaceful Paws wee Liz and Nigel, you can't buy what these beautiful hearted people offer, I adore you for all you folks did, right down to the paw prints in clay and ink,the wee posie of flowers, the card & Mollie's hair clippings we received, when we collected Mollie's ashes, I will cherish them forever. I also need to say thank you for having your Molly there to greet us when we came back for our Mollie, you've no idea the comfort i got from her <3 . Mollie Magoo Gill ..... We had to say goodbye to our beloved 18 year old kitty, Eric on 10th January, 2019. We were utterly heartbroken and still miss him dearly. I can’t thank... Nigel at Peaceful Paws 🐾 enough. Their professional yet personal and compassionate service at such a difficult time for us is something we will never forget. From Nigel’s sensitive and kind personal greeting on our arrival to the time we spent saying goodbye to Eric in their quiet room, we never felt rushed or pressured. We arrived at Peaceful Paws utterly devastated and we left knowing that Eric would be treated with absolute dignity which was so important to us. The genuine kindness shown by Nigel and his family shone through and stretched to when we got to bring our boy back home. The thoughtful little touches were so very well received and the fact that Nigel even washed Eric’s blanket without being asked to was very much appreciated. The fur clipping and paw prints which Nigel provided mean more to me than I realised they would at the time. I can only thank Nigel for providing such an important service in such difficult circumstances. His kindness goes beyond words. Thank you. RIP Eric 🐾🐈read more

5*s. Really beautiful that this service exists for people going through what we've had to these past few days with our little dog Gypsy. You can tell that so... much thought and care has gone into every detail. We never had this for any other pets but a house move meant we could no longer have a home burial so we didn't know what to expect...Nigel came highly recommended from our vets as being a lovely man, and honestly I can't thank you all enough for how everything was handled. Really meant so much to have our little lady treated with so much dignity and respect. She deserved it. I know some people don't get it when we mourn and grieve for our pets to the extent that we do, but the service is so understanding of this. Part of my crying today was just being so grateful that people like this exist in the world to be so kind to others in times when they're just in pieces. So so sweet. Thank you so much. ❤️ Also thanks to Molly the Jack Russell whose waggy little tail managed to cheer us up when we didn't really think that was possible. 🐾read more

I honestly cannot thank Nigel enough for providing this service to our family. The awful part about having pets is the inevitable day that you lose them and we... unfortunately experienced that this week, however Nigel was so accommodating and kind. My husband and I were able to say goodbye to our first "baby" in a peaceful, quiet environment, and it was honestly just so nice. Nigel helped us by lying her in a basket wrapped in a blanket we had brought and I just thought that was so sweet. We really appreciated his professionalism, kindness and sympathy during such a difficult time, and would encourage other families facing a similar loss to reach out to Peaceful Paws for their services. We were so glad we did.read more

After my worst nightmare came true and I lost my baby girl at 18yrs we decided to use the services of Peaceful Paws for the first time (ordinarily we have... always left our dog with the vet) and have never been so glad I did.I after a few traumatic experinces of losing different dogs over the years I was amazed to be given the same respect, understanding and sympathy as if it was a human family member I had just lost.I walked away knowing I had done the best I could for my girl and she was going to be looked after as an individual by Nigel who I had met and spoken with, I knew she would be treated gently and with consideration. I have previously felt very cold and as if I have abandoned my dog when leaving them at the vet, but in choosing this option I was able to bring her home, spend some time cleaning and brushing her and have those last few special cuddles where I could grieve in the privacy of my own home with family members.Peaceful Paws were very accommodating in their appointment times and when that time came we walked in to a spotless, warm homely environment. As I sat in the car waiting to go in, I was dreading getting out and handing my girl over to a stranger, someone who may even think I was rediculous for being so upset, I was so nervous about going in, and then the door was opened to greet us by Nigel and for the first time that day I smiled as little Mollie their Jack Russell came bounding towards us tail wagging to greet us, it was just the right thing at the right time.We were given our time in a quiet, comfortable room with candles, music and a fire and it was my decision when I would lay my baby down and when I did it was into a bed that was provided with blankets to tuck her in. I left her knowing she was comfortable. She looked like she was sleeping, we came out chatted and then I was able to go back in for a second time before we left.Penny was able to come home within 24hrs, which included the engraving of the urn. I cant describe how relieved I was to have her back so soon and to know she wasnt left for 3-4 weeks like our others have. When we arrived to pick her up there was a beautiful lay out of her urn, a posy of flowers, a lovely worded card, a little packet of forget me not flower seeds, her paw prints and a cut of her hair, and again we were given as much time as we needed to go through it all.In short I will never leave any of my dogs at the vets ever again and Peaceful Paws will be my first port of call.Thank you so much Nigel and team, I dont know if you realise what a difference you made in our grieving process and dealing with the loss of our girl.read more

A very sad and solemn experience made so much easier and better by Liz and Nigel at Peaceful Paws. I wanted to rush in and out but Liz asked me to sit and we... chatted, not only about our TC that had just been knocked down, but life in general and the wonderful idea and service that they offer through their pet crematorium. Kind, caring and lovely people and picked up the ashes today only 24hrs later, with a very kind sympathy card, some flowers and a friendly face made these two days more bearable. Having lost our beloved golden retriever, Molly, just last week I wanted to pass on our thanks for the wonderful service we have received from Peaceful... Paws.We had spoken to lovely Liz on the phone who was kind enough to answer our call late in on the evening after Molly had passed. Nigel picked her up from the vets the very next morning. She was cleaned, and laid out in a dog bed covered with a blanket. We were then able to spend some much needed time with her in a quiet side room before we said our goodbyes. Molly was back home with us within 48hours, her ashes placed in a beautiful wooden box with her name engraved on a little metal plaque. They also provide us with a small clipping of her golden fluffy fur, and we were glad we had paid extra for the clay paw imprint. We also received a sympathy card with a hand-written note and a small bundle of flowers. Peaceful Pets offers an invaluable service for distraught owners who want to say their goodbyes in a calm and serene environment. I trust them completely that they would have handled our precious girl with the utmost care- after 14 years of being part of our family, we wanted to ensure she was treated with dignity and respect right to the very end.Nigel and Liz have been absolutely lovely, I could not recommended them enough.read more

Was greated out the front of the property when I arrived. The man was very nice and understanding. Took me into a side room to be with my rabbit for a few... minutes and to say one last goodbye. The room was very peaceful and had a box of tissues at the ready. Ready to collect in 48 hours. Good range of memory trinkets available. Thinking of purchasing a bracelet that comes with a bead with some of my rabbits ashes in it.read more

Having visited Peaceful Paws and looked round I would just like to say how impressed I was with the facilities, but mainly with the kind, compassionate attitude... of Liz and Nigel. As a vet, it is lovely to know that pets continue to be treated with dignity and respect after they leave us.read more

Peaceful Paws Pet Crematorium were wonderful at a very difficult time when we had to make a decision about our beloved cat Gris who suffered from Renal... Failure. When I called Peaceful Paws, Nigel was very sympathetic, patient and understanding. He listened to what we wanted for Gris and then explained everything in a calm manner. When it came time to leave Gris, Nigel greeted us warmly and made us feel very at ease. We were taken into a lovely room and told to take our time to say our goodbyes. Nigel again went through all that he needed to with us and we left with peace of mind and feeling reassured. We went to collect Gris the next day and again were greeted by Nigel and Karen warmly with respect and extreme professionalism. Nigel showed me to the same room where we left Gris and she was presented in such a beautiful, thoughtful and peaceful way.We can't thank Peaceful Paws enough for easing our burden with such compassion, respect and dignity and for listening and understanding to what we wanted for Gris. This is an experience that you hope not to go through but Peaceful Paws helped us feel contented. The surroundings were fantastic, thoughtful and very peaceful and we thought much nicer than some funeral homes we had been in. We would highly recommend.read more
